Hive Energy Systems simultaneously participates in two major exhibits

ONE WEEK, TWO SHOWS, WORLD’S APART

KAHULUI, MAUI, HAWAII:

HiVE ENERGY SYSTEMS (http://hiveenergyinternational.com/), the Maui-based manufacturer and marketer of fully integrated, reliable, safe and cost-effective renewable energy storage platforms designed for residential, commercial, and utility-scale uses, had fully-staffed exhibits at the Maui Fair on October 4-7, 2018 and at the Re-Invest India Exposition in New Delhi on October 3-5, 2018.

“Actively participating in two important exhibits 7,500 miles apart was a real challenge,” confirms Dan O’Connell, HiVE CEO. “Fortunately, HiVE International opened its head office in Dubai in 2017. Tapan Bhattacharya, HiVE International’s full-time resident Managing Director and an Indian citizen, took the lead in arranging the very successful exhibit in New Delhi.”

Held in Kahului on October 4-7, 2018 and in its 96th year, the Maui Fair symbolizes timeless tradition. It attracts residents and visitors alike to enjoy family-oriented educational and recreational events including an array of local food and entertainment plus horticulture, livestock and art exhibits. HiVE’s exhibit in the “Maui Fair Products and Services” tent attracted hundreds of Maui home and business owners seeking information about HiVE’s innovative solutions for renewable energy storage.

A world away, the second Global RE-Invest India-ISA Renewable Energy Investors Exposition was held on October 3-5, 2018 in New Delhi. This exposition also included meetings of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Renewable Energy Ministers. The RE-Invest Exposition showcases India’s clean energy market and the government’s efforts to increase capacity. HiVE exhibited alongside its key Indian distribution partner, Kisan Solar (www.kisansolar.com). Over 20,000 people from 115 countries attended this year’s exposition and meetings.

The opportunity in India is particularly compelling as industry observers estimate that India will add 11 GW of solar PV annually for the next 5 years. India has an urgent need to upgrade its grid: 46% of rural India suffers from more than 15 hours daily power outage; 24% of India’s population experience more than 30 outages a day of 15 minutes or longer; and India’s small businesses rely heavily on expensive, environmentally-hazardous diesel generators and lead-acid batteries to maintain production.

HiVE’s technology is ideally-suited for Hawaii’s high-cost electricity market as well as India’s outdated and unreliable electrical grid. “HiVE makes distributed energy storage viable, efficient and cost-effective, transforming the grid into a modern, robust, 100% renewable digital grid. HiVE incorporates advanced integrated battery capabilities that significantly out-perform every alternative,” says Abbas Akhil, HiVE’s CTO.

HiVE’s revolutionary technology has the potential to eliminate all fossil fuel-generated electricity and its related pollution, while guaranteeing abundant supplies of clean energy.  Made in Hawaii, HiVE will enable Hawaii to achieve its aggressive mandate of 100% renewable energy by 2045 and is the gateway technology to transform India’s outmoded electrical grid into an entirely new digital grid of clean, firm, steady renewable power.   “It’s about time the world moves its electricity distribution into the twenty-first century,” Akhil continues.
